In past century people have worked without any cost. Because, they were prisoners and kings subjects. So they work hard without any cost, because they have not any option.
In generally, they are helpless and hopeless. But in the modern 21st century all people have right to freedom and every human being to live our lives with own way under government rule. But in this time workers are not paid at all. So what do you think about a man, who is working the whole day and getting nothing paid at the end of the day? Isn't it so miserable? Yes it definitely is!
So can you guess, who the worker we are talking about here?
That is THE SOCIAL MEDIA USER!
All the day, we scroll endless pages on the social media, without having an idea of how much time we are wasting doing this. And with this, we are also sharing our likes, dislikes, feelings and so many things. In general, we expose our whole life on social media (e.g. fb, whatsapp, instagram)
These social media sites have made our lives their business. They sell our likes, dislikes, feelings and such things to the other companies, so that they can show you relevant ads and can grow their revenue. Their revenue is coming from your data.
So this is how social media thugs us. Even after this we dont understand how harmful social media is for us.
Social media is using Artificial Intelligence to understand what our activities mean on social media. For example, if you posted feeling sad on facebook, then facebook can easily understand that you are feeling sad literally and it shows you the ads related to sadness supression.
In the present time, due to the social media we are being more anti-social, contrast of the meaning that its name suggests. We are living more in the virtual than the actual.
In addition, social media is also liable for spreading fake news, rumours in the society. In todays world social media is the most powerful weapon to ruin the world.
